Product description

Ethafoam is a sound-absorbing mat made of extruded polyethylene foam. It has a closed cell structure. It is used to make a layer of acoustic insulation under concrete floors, protecting against transmission of impact sound through the floor structure.

Benefits

  • very good acoustic insulation - compliant with European construction standards. Moisture-resistant: Due to its closed cell structure, Ethafoam is resistant to moisture, which allows it to be used in humid environments
  • low weight - easy installation
  • low thickness: Ethafoam can be successfully used in projects where the height of the floor layer is limited
  • longevity - the chemical composition ensures resistance to decomposition caused by the alkaline reaction of the concrete floor (it does not undergo the rotting process)
  • durability - high operational durability
  • versatility - it can be laid in a single layer or in many layers, depending on the space we have and the intended use

Technical data

  • thickness 5 mm
  • length 75 m
  • width 1.5 m
  • 112.5 m 2 in a roll
  • roll diameter 750 mm
  • density 33 kg / m 3
  • sound insulation 48 dB
  • thermal conductivity coefficient λ 0.040 W / mK
